Photography Basics
Are you thinking about taking our online photography class for parents to learn how to take better pictures of your kids and get in the frame? Well, we’ve got some great information below all about it!
In this course, you will learn some photography basics to help guide you through the course and your journey with photographing your kids. Here are the topics we cover.
DSLR and Cell Phone
This course is made with both a DSLR and a cell phone in mind. Therefore, we made sure to have seperate sections to discuss the ins and outs of photographing with each type of camera including tips and tricks, the pros of each camera, and the limitations.
Lighting
We cover both indoor and outdoor lighting of all types. We show you on video with real kids how lighting can change the mood of your images, and how some types of light can be more challenging with children. We also discuss how to find the best, most flattering light in any situation to ensure you get crisp and clean portraits of you and your children.
Composition
Our section on composition talks about the three most used types of composition and how to achieve them. We also discuss some handy compositional rules to ensure that the viewer of your images, whether that be you or your child or a family member, is always pulled into the frame and engaged with a pleasing composition.
