NAPCP International Image Award Winner! | The Joy of Motherhood

Holy shit.

You guys! I would say I don't swear around here unless it's important, but I totally do, however, this IS important.

Way back in January I submitted my newborn and family images to the NAPCP International Image Awards. In a competition like this, that's international, with some seriously heavy hitters entering, it's almost a foregone conclusion that some uber-talented people win and you and your ego will just get some tips for improvement back.

BUT THEN!

Then, a friend texts you the day the results are announced and tells you to check them and you see that your image (YOUR IMAGE!!!) is one of the winners! To tell you I was shocked is an understatement, but to tell you I am humbled is so true. The women and men winning these awards are some of the best and I am honored to have my work in the same world as theirs.

Thank you all for supporting me, and thank you for allowing me to brag a little, because when good stuff happens to you, I'm a firm believer that you should revel in it!
